Wage subsidies are available to assist with training your new employee, depending on the eligibility of the candidate for employment programs that Goodwill provides service under. The wage subsidies are individually determined based on the skills training the individual needs to be independent on the job. Our Goodwill Job Placement team can provide you with all the information you need to hire a candidate with wage subsidy. It’s easy to do, and we’ll provide support from start to finish. WSIB coverage is provided in most cases during the job placement period.
